Hi, I’m Michelle - founder of The Secret O.W.L. Society and creator of this 30 day quest.
When I first started practicing the art of creating a vision for the new year, it was all about setting goals for what I wanted to achieve. Later I realized that it was more about who I wanted to become. Now, many years into this work, I’ve come to understand that it’s about what I realize I must UN-BECOME.
It’s a healing journey of letting go. Letting go of what doesn’t serve us. Letting go of our trauma patterns. Letting go of living in a chronic state of fight or flight. Letting go of the people pleasing, the addictions, the coping mechanisms…
Letting go of the mountain.
So that we can return to BEING our powerful, authentic, selves.
When I look back over the past year of 2023, I see a lot of growth and blessings, but I also see how much more was available to me and yet left unclaimed because of how I’ve let a pattern of putting myself last create different blind spots along the way.
I know that for 2024 to be even better, I have to go even deeper into “The Work” of grounding myself in the practice of releasing what no longer serves me and receiving what does.
And that is why I created this experience that I’m calling “Emerge”. For 2024 to be “your best year ever”, it’s going to require that you’re more YOU than ever. ❤️
More about me:
I started my business in 2012, but things only really “took off” 4 years ago when I started doing the deeper inner work beyond traditional self-development. That inner work is what I’m sharing with you here in “Emerge”.
I moved from Miami to Portugal with my husband and two sons 1 year ago.
I’ve sold over a million dollars in courses made purely from my own creative desires.
I don’t have a team. I don’t niche down. I don’t use Facebook or Instagram. The only thing I focus on is making my business a space where I can heal, play, and express myself.
What’s inside the journal?
Wheel of Life
The “Wheel of Life” assessment section of the journal helps you create a “score” for each area of your life based on a series of questions. You’ll use your scores to accurately fill in the wheel of life diagram - resulting in an enlightening snapshot of where your energy is going and what may need more attention.
Word of the Year
The “Word of the Year” section of your journal guides you through identifying and embodying your word of the year for 2024.
Reflection & Projection
This section of the journal helps you take stock of the positive changes you’ve implemented for each area of your life in 2023. It also gives you the space to record what steps you want to take moving forward in 2024.
30 Days of Journaling
This is the heart of the journal. For 30 days, you’ll delve into different prompts and diagrams - all designed to help you do the inner work to call in the TRUE you for the new year. Each page has a “magical” butterfly in the top right corner that takes you to the corresponding day in the “Emerge” hub with an inspirational, enlightening video.

Don’t have a tablet for the digital journal? No problem - you also get the printable version of the journal. It’s 57 pages and ink friendly.
You’ll still be able to access the companion hub with all the videos if you’re using the printable version. :)
Companion Hub
Your 30 day journal is an interactive adventure that connects seamlessly to the “EMERGE” hub.
On each daily page of the journal, you’ll see a butterfly in the top right corner of the page. When you tap on the butterfly, it’ll take you to the corresponding day inside the hub.
The hub consists solely of YouTube videos I’ve curated from my favorite teachers and musicians - all for the purpose of helping you call in the true you for the new year.
